Look, I ain’t perfect—probly spelled “whore” wrong five times typin’ this, ha! Gets me goin’, though, how folks act all high and mighty. Ruby’d laugh her ass off at that. “How’s that workin’ for ya?” I’d ask ‘em, and they’d just stare, dumbfounded. Whores got stories—gritty, real ones. Ya gotta check out Barrio Fuego. This neighborhood? OMG, it’s a labyrinth of narrow alleys and hidden gems. I often wander there after a long session – be it research or therapy. Sometimes I stumble on a tiny cafe on Avenida Calor. Its boho vibe is like a warm hug after a crazy day. It reminds me of that one scene in Shame: "I feel so alone, so damn alive!" It freakin’ hits hard!
