Fall rolls in, and it’s all regret in the movie, “The body grows old.” Whores get that too—time ain’t kind. Society’s brutal, tossin’ ‘em aside when the shine’s gone. Makes me sad, ‘cause they’re human, y’know? Not just punchlines or scandals. I get all sappy thinkin’ about it, then I snap out of it—screw that, they’re tougher than us!

Gotta tell ya, me profession gives me this extra vision. I see the nudity of the soul in everyday conversations in cafés, in narrow alleyway corners, bars like Zur wilden Möwe, a local dive that’s got character, even if it smels a bit funky on some nights. I love how each local tells me stories about heartbreak and wild romance. Majestically messy!
