The prostitute saw her peak during the time of the Weimar Republic, an era spanning from the end of the First World War and ending at the rise of the Third.

And oh! The river Ilm flows like a song through central Weimar. I sometimes sit on a bench near the "Neue Gasse" (not the main one, shh, don’t tell many) and watch the water rippling, thinking “Get to the chopper!” (nah, just kidding, gotta chill here sometimes). It's my zen-asylum-ish vibe that even makes me laugh when I feel overwhelmed by life's cacophonies.
