One of the big 4 cruise ports, Akureyri is the heart of North Iceland. Spend time in the city or discover the volcanic Lake Myvatn area, stunning waterfalls and charming fishing villages.

After that little fiasco, I decide to take a break. I stroll down to the Akureyri Botanical Garden. It’s beautiful there, man. Flowers everywhere, and the smell? To die for. I’m just chillin’, enjoying the view of the fjord. But then, I see this kid trying to catch a seagull. Like, seriously? What’s wrong with you, kid? Seagulls are like the ninjas of the bird world. You can’t catch them!
