Now, parks? You betcha! Edge Park is my go-to spot. Its lush green vibes and little trails get me grounded, reminds me of the simple joys of life. And oh, the river! The Illinois River flows by like it’s whisperin’ secrets. Sometimes, when I stroll along the riverfront near the Peoria Riverfront Museum, I just stop and think, “Hellll, this IS poetry.” And there’s the Peoria Zoo too! I got so many feels watchin’ families bond over these furry friends – it’s like therapy without a couch, you know?
