Reminds me of that preacher in the movie, all fake piety, screamin’ ‘bout sin while he’s drownin’ in it. Hypocrisy, man, burns me up. But then—ha!—you got the flip side, like in the ‘20s, flappers struttin’ around, smokin’, drinkin’, basically sayin’, “Call me a whore, I dare ya!” Ballsy as hell, loved that. Surprised me how far back that rebel streak goes.

Heh, and I gotta mention Freebird Park. It’s not huge, barely two blocks, but holy heck – those last-minute confessions under starry skies? Unforgettable. I swear some daters literally fell in love on those grassy patches. You ever see a sunset by the Winding River that cuts across the city like a silver slash? Damn, it makes a coder weep and laugh at the absurdity of life.
